Hello! When I started this I was going to try to update more often than this but what the heck? I guess it is really only for me so who cares??? It was a busy weekend...the beginning of many. I held a NSD crop at the store that was a great success. I hope it is the beginning of many. We are on the countdown...it is only about 6 weeks until cruise time! I can't wait. Jeff has less then 10 days of school and graduation is right around the corner. See what I mean when I say busy?? Well I am tired, as usual, so I will try to write again soon.

April Showers

Can you believe it has stormed for the last couple of days? I guess that is where the April showers, bring May flowers comes from. Darla and the kids were here last week, we had a great visit. We ate, shopped and ate some more! We took the kids down to Mansfiled to the Comfort Inn where they have a small indoor waterpark area. it was small but nice.

We have been looking for a camper for what seems like months now, and today we purchased one!!! It is a 30 foot lightweight something...lots of room. I still can't believe we did it. We took pictures and as soon as I can get Jeff over to help me find them I will post some. There isn't much else new here so hopefully I can write again soon!!

What the February?

I stole that title from Ellen...can you believe it is February? And not the beginning of Febraury, but almost the end. I swear I did an update before that isn't here. Let's see what has happened since Christmas. We had our New Years Eve party as usual. It was quiet this year. We watched Jeff Dunham and ate and drank. Everyone was gone by 12:30, definetly a change from the past.
The ladies had gone to Windsor the day before that was a lot of fun! Kacie was the big winner. I came home pretty close to even.

Greg turned 20 on the 15th of January...Ken sure is OLD!

I went to Ft. Wayne for a crop at Cindy's house. It sure was good to see everyone. Hopefully we can do this again!

I turned 40 something on Febraury 3rd. Ken & I took the bus to Windsor again. We had a GREAT day together and came home only $30 in the hole between the 2 of us so that is good:)

On the 8th I went to CHA with Barb & Christy. The weather was WONDERFUL!! I can see how people can stay there forever and ever! We ordered a lot of new stuff that is already arriving. We went to Disney one night that was fun. It's hard to believe it all started with an over rated RAT!

Happy New Year

Hi! can you believe it is 2008? I can't believe it is already the 10th! Time is flying again. It has been busy as usual. Christmas was wonderful. We had our usual breakfast then went to Steve's for dinner. It was a good day. We had New Year's Eve at our house. I think this was year 18 for this. The first year we were married I know we went to Bev's, I was pregnant with Greg...speaking of which he will be 20 on Tuesday...20!!! I can still remember him being born and never sleeping. The first night home with him was a nightmare...I remember crying the whole night because I was sooooo tired and all he did was wanna stay awake and cry!! Man I wouldn't want to relive those days for ANYTHING! Well the next 6 weeks are busy busy! Ken is at his Mom's this weekend, then next weekend I am planning to go to darla's for the weekend, then the following weekend I am off to Ft. Wayne. Cindy is having a crop and invited me over so I am gonna go. The following weekend is Superbowl Weekend, but that is not the exciting part...it's my birthday! A day to celebrate just for me! Then it's off to sunny California for 6 days!! Oh I can't wait. I bought tickets to Disneyland as a surprise...it will be a fun time on Saturday night. I bought the Twilight tickets which were pretty inexpensive and we still will have 7 hours to spend there...what a deal!! Then when I get home Darla and the kids are coming down for a few days. She is taking the kids to one of the waterparks in Sandusky for the kids Energy

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Hi! I am quickly losing track of time. Where does it go? One week until Christmas, do you have all your shopping done? I am pretty much complete. The bad part about finishing so early is I tend to buy more! I guess if you are on the receiving end that could be good!

The weather here has been frightful. The weekend was pretty much a waste due to snow. It also was bitter cold. We had the family Christmas party and Ken's work party. We only have 2 things to do this month and can you imagine they were both at the same time. The weather didn't help either.

The ladies are doing a bus trip to Windsor on the 30th. That will be fun I can hardly wait, just to get away for a day will be wonderful!

A Very Blessed Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving has come and gone and all my stressing was for nothing.....everything was perfect! The food, guest, and camaraderie was just right. I spent days stressing about the meal, the company, the store and it all worked out great. We had about 25 people for dinner, eating at 1:30 just like I planned. Uncle John was released from the hospital, and did make it home on Saturday. The store opened at 11:00 on Thanksgiving and lived up to it's name...it was CRAZY for 3 hours anyways but that's OK. I got to come home and sleep like I wanted and go back Friday during the day. The weekend itself was a little slow but that's OK, it has been some steady days since. Well it is bedtime so I am gonna go, write more later!

I am getting OLD!!

O.K. I know I am getting older but I was not ready for the eye doctor's diagnosis that I need bifocals! Those are for really OLD people! I will have to say if I can see better it will be OK, but I really hate the thought of them and am hoping they don't make me sick...I have no time for that!

I have a very free Saturday and am bored! I need to get something done for Thanksgiving but that doesn't even sound like fun, plus there's not much I can do food wise right now it's still to early.

My uncle John is at the Cleveland Clinic where he had heart surgery on Thursday. He is pretty much in a drug induced coma because he is having problems coming off the respirator. We were going to take Aunt Marlene & Mary to dinner but Marlene just called and they are going to leave John like he is until tomorrow and Mary was sick all night so they are going to pass on dinner.
So that gives me a bunch of FREE TIME. I am no longer used to free time so I don't know what to do with myself! I think I used to organize my time much better then I do now, but I just can't get it together?? Well, I think I will go take a nap... that is always a good way to spend time :)
